Carrot prices in Ukraine have increased by an average of 11% in the past week due to high demand, with producers charging between 20-28 UAH/kg ($0.48-0.67 /kg). Most farms have stopped selling high-quality carrots in anticipation of further price hikes, leading to a limited supply. The price of high-quality carrots is now 83% higher than last year. There has also been an increase in prices for potatoes, cabbage, onions, and some fruits such as oranges and tangerines, while the prices for cucumbers have decreased due to low demand and increased imports.
