An event promoted by the AL-INVEST Green program in Colombia brought together governments, the private sector, and authorities from European Union member countries. The Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (Cecafé) participated, on October 8 and 9, in Medellín, Colombia, in the event “#CONEXIÓNVerde+”, an initiative of the European program AL-INVEST Green, which aims at cooperation actions and provides financing for the promotion of sustainability in Latin America. The agenda for these two days was centered on the adaptation process of the value chains of coffee, cocoa, and palm oil to the EU Regulation for Deforestation-Free Products (EUDR, in English) and featured the participation of the competent authorities from Italy, Spain, Belgium, and Germany.
