Production of various types of cereals in Russia in January-July 2023 reached more than 1 million tons, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported. In particular, the production of buckwheat increased by 6.8%, oatmeal by 19.9%, and corn by 4.3%. The ministry noted that prices for main types of cereals have decreased. Thus, by August 30, buckwheat fell in price by 12.3% since the beginning of the year, and rice by 4%.
