The Kuomintang Legislative Yuan caucus discovered that a company called Chaosi, which faced controversy over the import of Brazilian eggs, applied for a business suspension and then quickly resumed business. The company, with a capital of only 500,000 yuan, managed to obtain 60% of the Ministry of Agriculture's egg import volume and received a 170 million yuan subsidy from the Tsai government. There are suspicions of collusion between Chaosi and government officials, as well as concerns about the origin and quality of the imported eggs.
