The Montana region is also dealing with issues from the apple blossom borer, leaf wrappers, leaf nibblers, apple fruit wasp, red fruit mite, round-mining moth, California scale louse, and hairy beetle. Diseases such as scab on the apple, powdery mildew, and fire blight are also reported. Some regions have seen damage to peaches and apricots due to extremely low temperatures.
