Chestnut and fig sapling support to producers from Buharkent, Turkey

Chestnut and early yellow lobe fig saplings developed against the Gall Bee in Aydın's Buharkent district were distributed to producers. A chestnut and yellow lobe fig sapling distribution ceremony was held in Buharkent district within the scope of the Enabling the Use of Agricultural Lands (TAKE) project by Aydın Governorship, Aydın Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. In the fight against Chestnut Gall Bee, 2 thousand 200 Ertan variety of chestnut saplings registered in the name of the Faculty of Agriculture and 4 thousand Yellow Lop variety fig saplings, which made Buharkent a brand in fresh fig production, were delivered to farmers.
