The Turkish Statistical Institute has reported a year-on-year increase in poultry production in September, with chicken egg production up by 4.1%, chicken slaughter numbers by 10.0%, chicken meat production by 11.8%, and turkey meat production by 16.7%. In the first nine months of the year, chicken egg production has grown by 4.8%, chicken slaughter numbers by 6.9%, chicken meat production by 6.3%, and turkey meat production by 17.1%. However, there was a slight decrease in chicken meat production in September, and an increase in chicken egg production.
