Poultry companies in Egypt have experienced a decrease in chick prices due to the influx of Brazilian chicks, following the government's decision to open documentary credits for the import of 25 thousand tons of Brazilian poultry. As a result, prices for chicks have dropped across various companies. The annual production of chicks in the local market is 1.4 billion, with a market that includes nearly 2 billion chickens annually, while the production of table eggs is 13 billion annually.
