The Chilean Blueberry Committee and consulting firm iQonsulting have predicted a 8% decrease in fresh blueberry exports for the 2022-2023 season, totaling 98,228 tons. This is due to prioritizing fruit quality and quantity over volume, following logistical issues in the previous season. While fresh blueberry exports are expected to decline, frozen blueberry exports are set to increase by over 14%, reaching 60,000 tons.
