According to the report, in the first half of the year, Chilean prunes were exported to 70 markets, with an export volume of 34,026 tons, equivalent to US$104 million. In terms of export volume, China is the largest export market for Chilean prunes. During this period, Chile exported 10,463 tons of prunes to China, equivalent to US$23 million. In the first half of last year, Chile exported 5,816 tons of prunes to China, equivalent to US$19 million. Poland (3,200 tons) and Mexico (2,240 tons) ranked second and third largest export markets respectively; the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Turkey and Australia followed closely behind.
