From January to November 2022, Chile's fruit exports reached 3.24 million tons, valued at 6.594 billion US dollars, marking a slight increase compared to the previous year. The exports were dominated by fresh fruit, contributing 66.6% of the total, while processed fruit and nuts accounted for 24.1% and 9.2%, respectively. Cherries, table grapes, and apples were the top fresh fruit exports, with China, the United States, and Colombia as the main destinations. Processed fruit exports, which included frozen, dried, canned fruit, and juice, saw a 3% increase. Nuts, especially shelled and in-shell walnuts, experienced a 4.8% increase in export volume but a 3.9% decrease in export value.
