Producers consider it a recognition: U.S. opens doors to Chilean beef cuts

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) informed the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) of the expansion of the list of uncooked Chilean beef products that are authorized to enter the U.S. market. In this context, Eduardo Winkler, manager of the National Federation of Beef Cattle Producers of Chile (Fedecarne F.G.), offered his perspectives on this development and pointed out that the value of the new authorization goes beyond the mere volume of sales. For the industry, this measure is a sign that the nation's production is once again recognized for its high quality, high traceability, and excellent safety.
