The June 2022 bulletin by Chile's Office of Agricultural Studies and Policies (Odepa) reveals a decline in dried fruit exports, with a 28.77% volume drop and a 20% decrease in value from January to May 2022. Despite the decline, shelled hazelnuts remain a significant export, accounting for 33% of the total value. Italy and Germany are the primary importers, while walnuts in shell, making up 27% of the total value, are exported to the United Arab Emirates, India, and Morocco. Shelled walnuts are the third most valuable export, with Brazil, France, and Ecuador as the main destinations.
