Chilean avocado production will reach 240,000 tons, setting a record high in 15 years.

Data shows that for the 2024/25 season, 57% of Chilean avocados are used for export, with 43% consumed domestically. The estimated export volume for this season is approximately 136,000 to 138,000 tons, while domestic consumption is expected to be around 103,000 to 104,000 tons.

Currently, Chilean avocados are sold to nearly 40 countries worldwide, including the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain, China, and Argentina. Europe will continue to be the primary export market for Chilean avocados, followed by Latin America, with North America and Asia markets remaining stable. In the 24/25 season, Argentina has shown outstanding performance in the Latin American market, with a 25% increase in imports.
