Chilean blueberry exports increased by more than 30 percent year-on-year, with half being shipped to Asian markets.

As of week 47, Chile has exported 3,403 tons of blueberries, a 34% increase compared to the same period in the 2024/25 season, accounting for 3.7% of the total estimated production. The early export progress is not only due to the earlier harvest period but also a result of the industry proactively adjusting strategies to achieve better market performance. Asia has solidified its position as the main buyer of Chilean blueberries, with exports reaching 1,838 tons by week 47, accounting for 54% of total exports. Among these, South Korea holds a dominant position (48%), with a 36% increase compared to the 24/25 season and a 43% increase compared to the 23/24 season.
