The Chilean Kiwi Committee has reported a 14% decrease in kiwi harvests with a downward trend, similar to New Zealand's 31% drop. Italy is almost done with its kiwi sales, and Chile has larger, high-quality kiwis with better storage conditions despite the decrease. The main variety exported is Hayward. Europe is the primary market, followed by Latin America, the Far East, North America, Russia, and the Middle East. The Committee estimates 116,093 tons will be exported this season.
