An Indian delegation, including representatives from VKC Nuts, Regency Global Ingredient LLP, and Commodity Trading Corporation, has expressed interest in establishing long-term partnerships with Chilean companies like South365 and Kaikén to import and promote dried plums in India. The Indians are drawn to Chile's consistent harvest and the premium perception of Chilean produce in India. They are advocating for extended promotional strategies over five to seven years to boost consumption. The delegation's optimistic outlook values the potential of the Indian market, projecting it to reach 10 to 12 thousand tons in six to seven years.
