In the first half of 2024, China notably increased its wheat imports from Russia, with purchases rising to $38.9 million from $4.6 million the previous year. Conversely, corn imports from Russia fell sharply to $19.9 million from $54.3 million. Additionally, China's imports of Russian buckwheat, millet, and oats more than doubled, while imports of Russian soybeans and rapeseed saw a significant decrease compared to the same period in the previous year.
