Arrivals from the United States totaled 227,205 tons, up 12.3% from the previous year. From January to August, China imported 52.74 million tons from Brazil, a 2.0% drop compared to the same period last year, while shipments from the U.S. totaled 16.8 million tons, an increase of 30.9%, the data showed.
