The Asian giant has taken a strategic step in the diversification of its agri-food exports with the start of shipments of refrigerated pork to Singapore. The opening of this market occurs more than a year after the city-state resumed the importation of frozen products from China, following the restrictions imposed in 2018 due to the African swine fever. According to official sources from the province of Hunan, the first shipments are expected to arrive at their destination in approximately 30 days.
