China remains the main export market for Myanmar mangoes

Myanmar mango exporters said that in the first half of 2023, China will still be the most important export market for Myanmar's famous Sein Ta Lone mango. Among the more than 400 kinds of mangoes native to Myanmar, Sandelong mangoes are sweet in taste, bright in color and unique in aroma, and are the best among the mango varieties exported to China and other countries. According to the exporter, this kind of mangoes are mainly produced in Mandalay, Sagaing and southern Shan State in Myanmar. The mango harvest season in Shan State lasts from June to July, and it is now drawing to a close. Mandalay, which is adjacent to Shan State, is the earliest mango ripening area in Myanmar.
