China will buy 100,000 tons of apples from Iran

It's a trade! The Iranians and the Chinese agreed to sell 100,000 tons of apples. Many fruit growers would prefer fruit from Poland. The lower apple harvest in China affects both the apple concentrate market and the dessert apple market. Already in September we informed that the largest producer in the world exports less apples than in previous years. Recall that in the 2022/23 season, the apple harvest in China was around 36 million tons compared to 46 million tons in the previous season. Much smaller harvests are possible fruit shortages in the dessert market. The Iranian media reported laconically about the recent trade deals between Iran and China.
