In the initial months of 2024, China's canned orange exports experienced a mixed trend, with a 16% rise in volume reaching 42,000 tons, but a slight 3% drop in value to US$49.87 million, alongside a 16% fall in the average price per ton to US$1,187 when compared to the previous year. The United States, Japan, and Indonesia emerged as the primary importers, with Indonesia showing a remarkable 546% increase in import volume. The provinces of Zhejiang, Hubei, and Anhui led in export value, with Zhejiang contributing to 58% of the total exports. This data highlights the evolving dynamics of China's canned orange export market, focusing on destination diversity and provincial export contributions.
