South Africa is China's largest trading partner in Africa, and the two countries have a strong economic and trade relationship. This year, 16 South African companies have registered to participate in the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE), indicating a strong interest in the open Chinese market. The CIIE has played a significant role in expanding exports of South African specialty products to China, including wine, tea, and aloe vera. Since the first CIIE, South African beef, red wine, and other products have received a large number of orders, with a total transaction value of 210 million US dollars. China is the largest trading partner for South Africa, and South Africa is the largest investment destination for Chinese companies in Africa, with cumulative investment exceeding 25 billion US dollars. Both countries are planning to promote balanced and sustainable development of their economic and trade relations, with a focus on agricultural exports, digital economy, green energy, and infrastructure.
