Citrus fruits top the list of fruits exported by Spain to the United Arab Emirates

In 2021, Spain exported to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) a total of 22,827 tons of fruit and 17,753 tons of vegetables, with a value of 31.2 million in the case of fruit and 17.2 million euros for vegetables, according to data of the Department of Customs and Special Taxes processed by the Spanish Federation of Associations of Exporting Producers of Fruit, Vegetables, Flowers and Live Plants (FEPEX). Cabbages, with 7.2 million euros, and oranges, with 7 million euros, are the best-selling products from Spain to the UAE in 2021. In fruit, apples also stand out, with 4.6 million euros, tangerines with 4.2 million euros and persimmon, with 3.4 million euros. In vegetables, the most exported after cabbages were onions with 4.5 million euros and lettuce with 3 million euros.
