Citrus/Cepea: Scarce supply keeps orange prices on the rise in Brazil

Orange prices continue to rise, driven by the scarcity of fruit. As reported by Cepea employees, the limited supply is not enough to meet the growing demand, accentuated by high temperatures. In this week's partial (Monday to Thursday), pears are sold at R$ 77.10/box of 40.8 kg, on the tree, an increase of 5.21% compared to the previous period. For the leaf wither variety, the increase was even greater, 8.46%, to an average of R$ 64.06/box.
