The wheat harvest for the 2025/26 season began at an accelerated pace in the northern agricultural area of Argentina. According to the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange (BCBA), preliminary results indicate yields above the historical average, especially in the NOA and NEA regions, reflecting the good development conditions of the cereal. So far, about 5.3% of the suitable area has been harvested, with averages ranging from 8 to 15 qq/ha in the NOA and 27.3 qq/ha in the NEA, surpassing historical records from the 2019/20 season.
