Turkey: Close monitoring of chestnut imports

The "Communiqué on Amendments to the Communiqué on the Implementation of Surveillance in Imports" prepared by the Ministry of Commerce came into force after being published in the Official Gazette. With the communiqué, chestnut imports were included in the scope of surveillance practice. According to the information obtained from the Ministry on the subject, action was taken upon some negative evaluations regarding imported chestnuts in recent days.
