Turkey: Clover seeds were distributed to 136 farmers with the alfalfa production development project in Düzce

DÜZCE (İHA) – With the Project of Improving Alfalfa Production in Düzce, 6 thousand 190 kilos of alfalfa seeds were distributed to 136 farmers for an area of 1,238 decares with 25 percent farmer contribution, at a ceremony held at Düzce Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. Düzce Governor Selçuk Aslan, Düzce Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Esra Uzun, protocol members and farmers attended the alfalfa seed distribution ceremony held with the Alfalfa Production Development Project. Governor Selçuk Aslan, in his speech drawing attention to the importance of agriculture and animal husbandry, emphasized that the region has a strong position in industrial agriculture and especially hazelnut production.
