The Cocoa Abrabopa Association held its 12th Annual General Meeting in Kumasi, Ghana, bringing together over four thousand cocoa farmers to discuss the association's performance and address concerns such as delays in the release of Seed Funds from COCOBOD and the need to combat galamsey activities. The Council Chairman made a passionate appeal for improved productivity enhancement programs and also introduced a Digital Payment System and Living Income Sustainability Initiative to improve cocoa farmers' livelihoods. The meeting was attended by officials from COCOBOD, The Ghana Civil Society Cocoa Platform, Federated Commodities Limited, Adwumapa Buyers Limited, Representatives of Mars, and various Cocoa Farmer Cooperatives.
