Ivory Coast, the world's largest cocoa producer, saw a 16.1% increase in cocoa milling in November 2024, reaching 60,694 tonnes, as per the exporters’ association GEPEX. The country's cumulative milling for the 2024/25 season started in October reached 119,777 tonnes, an increase of 1.6% compared to the same period the previous season. Ivory Coast's total installed milling capacity is 712,000 tonnes per year, positioning it as a key hub for the global cocoa market. The increase in milling is a positive indicator for the sector, highlighting the stability and growth in demand for processed cocoa products.
