The collective effort of 243 female producers from family agriculture in Amazonas has made its way into international trade. This is the Association of Women Las Flores de Luya, which made its first export of 37 tons of green coffee to Europe and the United States, thanks to the technical-commercial support of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), through Agromercado. The operation included two shipments of 18.9 tons each: the first destined for Belgium, purchased by the Swiss multinational Sucafina, and the second, dispatched in parallel to Los Angeles (USA), also purchased by the same importer. The transaction generated income of over S/860,000 for the organization, consolidating its entry into high-value markets.
