On January 30, 2024, coffee prices saw a slight increase in the London exchange and a significant decrease in the New York exchange. In Vietnam, domestic market prices rose by up to 600 VND/kg, with prices now between 77,000 to 78,000 VND/kg. This increase is attributed to low inventories, supply disruptions, weak output from key Southeast Asian suppliers, and shipping route congestion to Europe. However, experts anticipate that future increases will be minimal as prices have already hit a threshold.
