Brazilian coffee production in 2025 is estimated at 56.5 million 60-kilo bags, according to the 4th Survey by the National Supply Company (Conab) released this Thursday (4). Even though it is a year of negative bienniality, the projected volume is the third highest in the historical series, behind only the 2018 and 2020 crops, both of which were years of positive bienniality. The figure represents a 4.3% increase over the production of 2024. The result combines a slight reduction of 1.2% in the area under production, estimated at 1.85 million hectares, with an improvement in the national average productivity, projected at 30.4 bags per hectare. The advance is mainly driven by the performance of conilon crops. With less influence from bienniality, conilon production is expected to reach 20.8 million bags, the highest volume ever recorded by Conab.
