Colombia: Singapore is a new destination for pork exports

This achievement is the result of an admissibility process that began in 2018 and which culminated recently, after exchanging information with the health authorities of Singapore and agreement on a model of health certificate for export. In addition, the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) carried out an in-country audit that included verification visits to primary production farms and processing establishments such as processing, boning and meat processing plants. As a result, Colombia's official inspection system was recognized as equivalent to Singapore's, an important achievement given the high standards and technical rigor applied by the SFA.
