The Constitution and Justice and Citizenship Commission (CCJ) of the Chamber of Deputies approved a bill that sets the maximum height allowed for cargo compartments used for the transport of live animals at 4.95 meters. The proposal will now go to the senators for analysis, unless there is a request for it to also be voted on by the Plenary of the Chamber. The measure is provided for in Bill 3604/19, by deputy Zé Vitor (PL-MG). The rapporteur in the CCJ, deputy Diego Garcia (Republicanos-PR), recommended the approval of the project with the change previously made in the Committee on Roads and Transportation.
