Few days remain until the conclusion of the "cram down" process for Vicentin –which expires next Friday, October 31– and by then one of the two competing proposals must obtain the majority of votes to take over the agribusiness company.
After Unión Agrícola de Avellaneda (UAA) requested yesterday to adhere to the proposal presented by Molinos Agro and Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC), this Thursday spokespersons for the Grassi group –the other competitor– communicated that, in case of winning, they will have the logistical and commercial support of Bunge, as they had already announced weeks ago –also informally– with Cargill.
