Brazilian farmers are set to expand their acreage due to favorable climate conditions, leading to double harvests per year. The National Supply Company (Conab) predicts a record grain production of 322.4 million tonnes, a 8.2% increase from the previous year. Soybean planting is on track, with a projected production of 166.21 million tons. Rice production is also expected to increase by 9.8%, covering 1.77 million hectares. However, wheat production is projected to decrease by 0.4% due to a 14.1% reduction in acreage in the southern states.
