POULTRYINDONESIA, Jakarta – The government through the National Food Agency (Bapanas) held an online Coordination Meeting (Rakor) on Thursday (16/4) to discuss the determination of the Sales Reference Price (HAP) zoning for purebred chicken eggs. This step is a further effort to suppress regional price disparities while maintaining a balance between producer and consumer prices. The online Rakor involved various stakeholders, from ministries/agencies, regional governments, the Polri Food Task Force, to layer farmer associations and cooperatives from all over Indonesia. Director of Food Supply and Price Stabilization, Maino Dwi Hartono, revealed that the price of purebred chicken eggs nationally still shows disparities. At the producer level, the average price was recorded at Rp25,871/kg or about 2.37% below the HAP of Rp26,500/kg.
