(Agraria.pe) The Agrarian Cooperative Yuraq Yaku, from the district of Anchihuay (VRAEM), exported 4 tons of specialty coffee for the first time to the United States, consolidating the effort of coffee farming families that bet on a legitimate and sustainable economy. This export was made possible thanks to the technical support of the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida), through the associativity and coffee activity, which provides comprehensive assistance to producers throughout the entire production process, from crop management, harvesting, post-harvest, to quality certification and commercial articulation. The exported coffee corresponds to high-quality beans cultivated in plots located between 1700 and 1800 meters above sea level, under natural shade and with sustainable practices that protect the ecosystems of the Vraem.
