Thailand's corn imports were down 13% in the first five months of MY 2022/23, reaching 200,000 tons. Myanmar was the main supplier, accounting for 61% of imports, followed by India and Cambodia. The USDA anticipates a recovery in imports from Myanmar as cross-border trade returns to normal. Thailand's corn production for 2022/23 MY is expected to remain unchanged at 5.2 million tons.
