As of November 5, the agro-enterprises of the "Agrain" group have threshed 42% of the corn acreage. Preliminary results indicate high yields—in the Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions, they are about 10.6 t/ha, exceeding both planned indicators and the average level in Ukraine, reports "ProAgro Group".
The company noted that such results were achieved thanks to adapted hybrids, precision farming, soil agrochemical analysis, and the use of modern machinery. The moisture content of the grain in the silo is 19-22%, which allows the harvest to continue without critical delays. It is expected to decrease to 17-18%, which will accelerate the pace of harvesting.
In 2025, "Agrain" has allocated over 13,000 hectares for corn (8% less than last year), which is due to a planned crop rotation adjustment. For 2026, the areas are planned to be maintained with a possible adjustment within 3-5%—the decision will be made after analyzing the results of the season and market forecasts.
