Council of Ministers: Bulgaria seeks autonomous CAP after 2027.

Bulgaria supports the maintenance of a strong and autonomous Common Agricultural Policy beyond 2027, with a guaranteed budget to ensure food security. This is part of our country's position for the upcoming meeting of the European Union Council on Agriculture and Fisheries, which was approved at the last government meeting. The implementation of stable interventions for production-linked support is the basis for maintaining food security. For Bulgaria, production-linked support has always been an essential and strategic instrument in direct payments, which we continue to recognize as an important element of the policy and in the current reform, states our position.
