Cranberry Harvest - Significant increase in US production expected

The American cranberry harvest predicts an increase in volume in 2020. Major supplies will come from Wisconsin and Massachusetts. US producers also conduct marketing campaigns aimed at increasing cranberry consumption. According to the Cranberry Marketing Committee based in Wareham, Massachusetts, the estimated 2020 cranberry harvest is 8,754,000 barrels produced in the US. This is a significant increase over the 2019 production of 7,605,470 barrels. Cranberry shipments come from Wisconsin, which accounts for 61 percent of cranberries in the US, and Massachusetts is responsible for another 26 percent. The remaining 13 percent comes from the states of New Jersey, Oregon and Washington, while the competing product comes from Canada and Chile.
