The Córdoba-based firm Elcor, manufacturer of the Tonadita brand, closed a strategic agreement with the cooperative to reactivate three of its inactive plants, as part of an alliance seeking to restore productive activity to the battered company. The agreement does not involve the sale of SanCor or changes to its corporate structure, but rather a commercial agreement to restart completely paralyzed manufacturing units. Elcor, based in Villa María, will provide raw materials, working capital, and its commercial structure to begin producing and distributing food under the historic SanCor brand. The first plants to be reactivated will be those in Devoto (Córdoba) and Villa Gobernador Gálvez (Santa Fe), while a third is still in the process of being defined.
