Cruel price increase in the Hungarian markets: the fruit costs twice as much as last year

According to the data of NAIK AKI PÁIR, the average price of round tomatoes in the domestic market (HUF 260 / kilogram) decreased in week 27 compared to the previous week and the previous year: depending on the size, by 26-17 percent this week and by 26 percent a year earlier. -27.5 percent lower, according to the latest survey by NAIK AKI. At the same time, the price of sweet peppers to be stuffed slightly exceeded the average price of the 27th week of 2019: in the size of 30–70 mm (370 HUF / kilogram) by 7 percent, in the size of shoulder diameter larger than 70 mm (460 HUF / kilogram) by 5 percent. The letcho peppers were offered at the most common price of 310 forints / kilogram in the examined week. Bulk carrots were imported for HUF 200 per kilogram and bunches for HUF 220, so the bulk was 5 percent lower, while the bunched carrots were 42 percent higher than the average price of the 27th week of last year.
