Bulgaria: Cucumbers have risen in price by over 57% in just one month

At an average wholesale price of BGN 3.15/kg on the indicated date, cucumbers are up 9 percent more expensive on an annual basis. At the same time, the Commission's latest bulletin shows that the prices of this vegetable continue to climb steeply, and at the end of last week the average market price was already BGN 3.66/kg (+15.5%). Greenhouse tomatoes move in the opposite direction. With an average wholesale price as of November 22 of BGN 3.26, on a monthly basis they have become cheaper by 4.1%, and on a weekly basis they are down by 7.1%.
