Cup of Excellence Peru 2025: the best coffee in Peru is from Cajamarca

(Agraria.pe) The producer Ángel Antonio Manosalva Palomino from the Cajamarca region is the coffee grower with the best coffee in Peru, according to the Peru Cup of Excellence 2025, the competition that recognizes the best Peruvian coffee and the most outstanding coffee grower of the year. His coffee, of the geisha variety, cultivated in the district of Jaén, Jaén province, Cajamarca, obtained 90.64 points, prevailing among the nearly 300 samples presented this year. "It has not been an easy path. I have been participating in competitions for seven years to keep improving. Last year the weather played a trick on us and I preferred not to enter, but this year I prepared myself conscientiously, from fertilization to every detail of the process, always with a lot of love and passion," expressed an excited Ángel Antonio upon receiving his award.
