Current fruit prices in Poland

The Polish Fruit Growers Association presented the current weekly fruit prices based on data from seven popular retail chains. Price baskets covered the markets of Auchan, Kaufland, Topaz, Lewiatan, Biedronka, Netto, and Dino. Current fruit prices presented by the Association of Polish Fruit Growers were as follows: On Friday (May 14, 2021) Polish apple varieties could be purchased at the lowest price in the Dino retail chain. A kilogram of apples of the Jonagold variety cost PLN 1.99 / kg. In comparison, in the Kaufland, Topaz, Biedronka and Netto stores, apples of this variety cost PLN 3.49 / kg, while in the Lewiatan store PLN 2.69 / kg. The highest price has to be paid in the Auchan chain of PLN 3.98 / kg. Conference pears were priced at PLN 3.99 per kilogram in the Dino chain of stores, while the most expensive in the Auchan chain was PLN 6.29 / kg.
