The organic farming sector in Poland is developing dynamically and entering a phase of stable growth. According to the IJHARS report "On the state of organic farming in Poland in 2023–2024," there is an increase in both the number of organic producers and the area of agricultural land managed using organic methods. The highest number of certified farms operates in the Podlaskie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, and Mazowieckie provinces, which confirms that organic farming in Poland is strengthening its position in the national agricultural production structure. According to IJHARS data, the number of organic producers increased from 23,995 in 2023 to 24,793 in 2024, which means an increase of 3.3% over the year. An even more pronounced progress was noted in the area of organic crops – from 636 thousand hectares in 2023 to over 691 thousand hectares in 2024.
